ADEVENTURE HOLYWEEK SPECIAL
Today we visit 7 historical churches in Iloilo City together with my cool fam. We woke up around 5am and 6am we start Visita Iglesia.

3. 💒 The Parish of Saint Anne [Molo District, Molo Iloilo City]
4. 💒 The Immaculate Conception Parish [JC Zulueta St, Oton, Iloilo City]
5. 💒 St John of Saharan Parish [San Juan Sahagun Parish, Tigbauan, Iloilo]
6. 💒 The St. Nicolas of Tolentino Parish [Guimbal, Iloilo]
7. 💒 Santo Tomas De Villanueva Parish Church [Miagao, Iloilo]
The Origins of the Visita Iglesia, the Holy Week practice of visiting and praying in at least 7 churches, was introduced to the Philippines by Augustinian missionaries in the 1560s
Our next stop is Garin Farm [San Joaquin, Iloilo]
We visit the famous Pilgrimage in Wester Visayas kung san you need to climb the stairs with 480 steps until you reach the gigantic cross. Ang ganda kasi bago mo makita lang heaven you will pass by each stations from Adam and Eve or the creation, Noah’s Ark, Birth of Jesus to Ascension at dadaan ka sa sang pinakamadilim na room with Jesus Christ na sasalubong sa iyo. I recommend to bring shade glasses kasi sobrang liwanag if you come around 10am-2pm. Entrance fee in Garin Farm is 💸150.00 per pax.
How to get there:
-From Iloilo City proper, ride a jeepney to Molo Bus terminal. Fare is 7 pesos.
-Look for a Van going to Antique or Culasi and tell the driver that you’re off to Garin Farm in San Joaquin. Fare is 60 pesos. Travel time is 1-1.5 hrs.
-From the drop off point, there will be habal-habals to take you to Garin Farm. Fare is 10pesos.
Last stop The Assemblage Point Resort and Convention Hub [Lawigan, San Joaquin, Iloilo].
It’s 14.5 kilometers from Garin Farm. Maganda if may sasakyan kayo para hindi hustle mag commute. It’s very unwinding place at masarap din lang pagkain nila. You can swim to their infinity pool and beach for as low as 💸150.00 per pax. If mag lunch lang kayu no entrance fee.
