Today is another exciting day! I’ve visited 2 schools and an international apartment named Varsity Apartment. First we visit the Matthew Flinders Anglican College. Founded in 1990, Matthew Flinders Anglican College has enjoyed rapid growth. From an enrolment of 161 in its first year, the school now delivers quality education to approximately 1300 girls and boys. Situated on a 20 hectare site on the southern side of Buderim Mountain and only two kilometres from the centre of Buderim and the Sunshine Coast University, Matthew Flinders Anglican College provides its students with some of the most modern educational facilities in the region. Clare the International Coordinator welcomed me and it is very overwhelming. I had a great time for a morning tea with the principal and captain.

Bush Bike Riding 20km Exhausted! 110% FUN

Had a great time bike riding today at the bush near in the Landsborough with Michael. We ride about 20km around the muddy bush while the morning mists shower upon our faces. It was an exhausting experience but absolutely fun! I’m starting to love bike riding.

Enjoying every bite of Anzac biscuit and hot chocolate at Landborough bakery and thanks for the treat Michael. You are now certified Director of my ventures =) LOL! While, in afternoon we have our Sunday trip with Anne, Michael and Anne’s MOM at the Maleny, Mary Cane Cross, and Glass house Mountain. Let me thank GOD for this wonderful day he made. Cheers!

Learning ABC

This is not all about airway, breathing and circulation, this is all about learning how to surf. Sounds strange? but fascinating! I woke up very early this morning; prepare my breakfast with some sauges, ham, cheese, carrots and tomato. It’s quite a bit different now, and for me this the most memorable thing that I’ve done here in the coast, that is being independent. Have you ever tried to be independent, living alone on your own? I love my room here at Maroochy River Resort, this is like a small house but three people can live here. I love the stuffs inside, it helps me to try different things everyday like cooking. I’ve learn also how to wash dishes in Australian ways. Yep – honestly it is very different. 6:30 in the morning I’m already prepared and I’m so early in the said venue to meet Scott. It’s very freezing morning even if I have a jacket, my body can’t resist with the freezing breeze that strikes on my skin. Scott will pick me up here at the resort to have my first ever surfing experience. Sounds great? We went to the Gold Coast, at the ‘D Beach’ with my new surfing mates Rachel, Mellissa, and Declan. They are all young and its our first time. Todays sponsor is the Beach Bum Surfing, I’ve met the world’s best surfing instructor, Scott Dillion, Queensland Surfing Champion and he is very humble. It’s my pleasure to meet him and he taught us very well and the good thing is I’ve made it to balance my body for just – A B C. I love to play with the waves even though it is just a basic lesson.

After we had a great surfing lesson, before we go home, we went to other places. We went also to the freezing falls here in the Gold Coast. Lastly, Scott brought us in the place where surf board is being made and exported internationally. He really have a passion in surfing and even while hes driving on his car he let me watch some surfing competition and its very inspiring. It’s difficult yet interesting.

Maroochy River Resort Experience

I transferred to Maroochy River Resort this afternoon. David and Michelle drove me to the place and they make sure that all are well settled in my room. They are so real parents for me and I really appreciate it. Everything is well arranged, the food, the drinks and etc. All I need to do is to relax here and enjoy my stay!

The great lesson that I’ve learned here in the Coast is that I was able to live on my own, survive and become independent. I bought my food in the Sunshine Plaza for the 5 days food of mine at Maroochy. Michelle gave me also some foods to bring and she cooked me spaghetti. She is very loving, caring and generous to me. During my first week here at Coast, I don’t know what food I will eat, I don’t know what food I will prepare for my meal, because I have no idea how they prepare food here. But now I have learned to prepare Australian food on my own and cook on my own. No Noodles, No Burgers but all salad, suasages and veges, BAM delicious and survived. Sounds great right? My mom will be proud of me when I come back home.

Tin Can Bay & Rainbow Beach Road Trip

Last night I had a great time with David and Michelle’s friends who visit their house for a dinner. We had a great conversation. It’s nice to meet lovely people here in the Coast and adding them on my list of friends also.

4’oclock in the morning my alarm clock keeps beeping on my side. I need to wake up early for the road trip and feeding the dolphin at Tin Can Bay. So we depart early in the morning and I continue my sleep in the car while Daid driving towards our destination. On the other hand, I have witnessed the Coast in the dawn of the morning. Very peaceful and quiet and I really love the mist in the street as we pass on the road.

We went to Tin Cay Bay and witness the lovely dolphins #Eyyyyyyy. They are now ready to feed by the resort assistant. I have also taken some snap of pictures and it was so amazing experience. We take our breakfast in that restaurant and depart going to Rainbow Beach. We arrived to the little town of Rainbow beach around 9am. The beach was so attractive and I really love the natural curve of it. It looks like the curve of the rainbow. As I hear the clashes sounds of the ocean and the relaxing breeze of the wind, I feel refreshed. I look around the place and familiarise myself in the town, I really love countryside. As we go back home, I got the chance to look Pomona Town. It is very small country side town also, though the place is peaceful I have a peace of mind if live here. We arrived at home and got a chance to sleep LOL! In the afternoon I followed David to walk Benjie in the Moroochy River. Then prepare myself for the evening to meet David’s family at his sister’s house. I have met his family and they are all lovely and funny. We had a nice dinner and I had a great time with them. Thank you GOD for this day! Thanks Michille and David! Cheers! I will miss the 0.9 beer! 🙂

School Visit at Coast

A refreshing start of my day, the breeze of the wind is very cool and I have enough sleep, feeling blessed. Today I’m excited to visit the CQ University at Noosa and meeting Samara, a board executive in SunED from CQ University. I haven’t met her before during the welcome-programme of WBSA.

We went to the CQ University and I’am astonished with the school setting. The school was absolutely beautiful and funky. I have met Naya an international student taking her PhD Degree in the university. She is from USA and she is lovely. We’ve got lunch to the cool café inside the school. The university looks like very modern, classy and for me it just like a mall. AMAZING!

I’ve interviewed by the media today to put my story again to a paper. This is my third time now to be interviewed for a newspaper and I feel very much overwhelmed. One lady took me a photo and I became a model! Haha sounds good! Feels like im a legendary! It’s very funny because I’m holding the surf board and some people passing by and looking at me #awkward.

On the other hand, I have my school-tour visit with Samara and she bring me to Naya, a lovely staff in the school. Naya showed to me their new technology in the school which “The Computer Eye Tracker”. This technology is all about tracking your eyes while you are using computer. There is a machine and webcam connected in the computer. It is effective in detecting autism, eye to eye contact with online teaching, detecting ECG in the hospital (if the doctors read accurately on the waves of the ECG. It prevents wrong diagnosis of diseases), and other medical or science field. Our eyes are very powerful, we can tell if people are happy. It is an impressive invention nowadays and CQ University has a room for this tool.

I visit their rooms, laboratory, nursing room, and it is beautiful. I feels like I want to study here. I fall in love with this place. The environment is cool atmosphere for studying.

Dream Come True

Do you believe in your dreams? These are your thoughts, desire, goal and vision that is planted inside your soul. These are your motivations and courage that help you to woke up everyday and have strength to push whats going on in life. Sometimes when I’m alone I talked to myself all things I realise about my life and my future. But I keep asking myself. What do I really want for my life? Until such time I answer all my doubts, my fears, and my queries. I WANT WHAT I WANT. I want what I love, keeping the passion and the fire burnin. Maybe that’s the reason why I exist in this fortunate world.

Before I won on this competition I’m a subscriber of Luis and Jaz (Mega Jam) Youtube and Facebook. So I really want to meet them and my thoughts whispered to me that someday I will come to Australia and I will meet Luis and Jaz. When I first saw the competition in the internet, I already realise that this is one of the sign. BAM! This is it. I went to the Mega Jam. This is one of my dreams before to dance with Luis/Jaz.

The Kondolila National Park

Twenthy fourth of March at Maleny, it is the day when Rob was born, the only Son of Janet and Vince. We meet them at the Maple Cafe at Maleny Town together with her gf holly. We went to the Kondolila National Park, we have a huge healthy walk and the place is refreshing. The Kondolila falls is very beautiful and the water is cold to touch. It freshens my lungs when you breath in the forest and if you are an environmentalist you will really love it. I really enjoy my day and again TGFTWDHM!

Those days at Maleny

Even we have a heavy rain and floods last night, my days are still counted here at the Sunshine Coast. I woke up past quarter to 9 and I had a great sleep. I can feel the rays of the sun that strikes on my face and I feel grateful with that.

Roy, 75 years old and a brilliant former car racer pick me up at Anne’s house. He loves volunteering at the Coast. He also has lots of activities done such as clowning for those elderly people at nursing home community. He dropped me at Maleny Maple Caffe to meet Janet my next homestay. I’m glad to meet lots of people here at Coast.
Janet brought me in one of the beautiful gallery here at the Maleny. We meet her friend Heather an artist who is very passionate in creating her masterpiece. I’m inspired to her dedication and enthusiasm in painting. We look around the gallery and it looks so great, the buildings, artifacts, paintings and it is absolutely outstanding. Her business is not yet open into the public, she paint full of passion and emotion that for me it catches an attention and sooner or later her gallery will be popular not only in the Coast but in the whole world – I hope.

Thereafter, we went back home and Janet shown to me her beautiful house and again my new room :). We look around also the hills and find some beautiful and nice view of the sunset at Maleny. In the evening, we hang out with their community friends and have some barbecue and cheers! I have meet lots of people here and they are all happy couple. They usually have a barbecue party here every Friday where they can talk and share with each other. I had a great time with them and again LMTGFTBDHM!
