Day 33-35
Challenge: Pole Dancing
Attached to a rope, castaways will need to first race through a series of obstacles to untangle their rope. If they feel that they have enough, they must then go through a second set of obstacles in order to reach a table of sandbags. Using the sandbags, they must attempt to knock down a tower of blocks. The first castaway to completely knock down their block tower wins.
Reward: Helicopter ride to the Malamala Beach Club.
Winner: Davie Rickenbacker (shared with Kara Kay and Nick Wilson)
Immunity
Challenge: Rollerball
Castaways must stand on a small log while balancing a ball on a wooden disc. At regular intervals, more balls will be added onto the plate until there are three balls, which will increase difficulty. If at any time a ball falls off the disc or a castaway loses their footing on the log, they will be eliminated. The last castaway standing wins.
Winner: Mike White
It surprises me that people thought I was such a huge threat that I needed to go as soon as they could marshall the vote. Eighteen votes if I can count. That’s an accomplishment! It makes me feel big. It makes me feel formidable. Like, a person who’s earned the respect of his colleagues. So, maybe I should respect myself more as a consequence.
