On Day 18, the tribes merged. At the merge feast, it was made known that Alec Merlino had orchestrated the blindside against Natalia Azoqa while on Vuku, leading to distrust among the Goliath majority. After the feast, Elizabeth Olson proposed that the merged tribe be named “Kalokalo”, the Fijian word for “star”. While most of the tribe accepted the proposal, Carl Boudreaux expressed his chagrin and persistent irritation with Elizabeth to Dan Rengering.

Challenges
Immunity Challenge: Ring Leader
Castaways must swing a long pendulum through a frame around a statue. If the statue tips over or the pendulum loses momentum, they are eliminated from the challenge. The last person with their statue still standing wins.
Winner: Alison Raybould
Well, um, I got voted out. I did what I could, and it fell on deaf ears, but I certainly hope that tonight, that there were some cracks that revealed in the Goliath tribe. That’s what I would really like, is to see a David win this game. As a fan, I still love Survivor more than I ever have in my life, and uh, I just had a great time.
